Our menu is Mediterranean and light with daily specials making use of the region's freshest and healthiest produce, whilst our winelist comprises of over 350 wines from 55 mainly Stellenbosch wineries. Following a major renovation in 2004, the Wijnhuis introduced a large range of tagliatas, carpaccios and venison dishes to its menu and these have proven very popular. Most of the salads and vegetables that we serve originate on our farm in the Bainskloof area in Wellington. These include exotic Italian lettuce, tomatoes, fruits, even our own cold-pressed olive oil. The farm also recently started producing its own grappa from bushvine hanepoot grapes and its own red blend which will be available at the Wijnhuis in due course.
